Sometimes, the simplest restoration jobs can completely rejuvenate a piece of furniture. This adorable ladies’ work box was in good condition structurally, it just suffered from a bit of wear and tear and needed to be refinished.
A nice and simple little job which consisted in cleaning up the original finish, re-staining the timber to cover up the scuff marks, and then refinishing with 3 coats of lacquer.
