A lovely and unusual piece of furniture with dried up joints that came apart, and water damage.
The chair was completely dismantled and some grooves where cut for loose timber tongues to re-join the boards for the seat.
The other components were cleaned and the old glue removed before being reassembled.
The paint was removed, exposing solid beech timber, and the whole chair reassembled.
The chair is now ready to be primed and then painted.
