A Classic 1960s Ercol Design
This beautiful Ercol Windsor Model 458 serving trolley dates from the 1960s and is a lovely example of British mid-century furniture. Designed by Lucian Ercolani, it combines solid elm shelves with a beech frame and distinctive raised gallery rails.
Practical and Versatile
With three spacious tiers and its original castors, this Ercol trolley is both practical and easy to move around. Originally designed for serving, it could be used as a drinks trolley, tea trolley or occasional table, or simply as attractive storage in a living or dining room.
Its timeless design works equally well in a mid-century interior or a more contemporary home.
Original Vintage Character
As you would expect from a piece of furniture that is around 60 years old, it has some marks, scratches and areas of wear, including some white paint transfer to the top gallery rail. These details are shown in the photographs and contribute to its authentic vintage character.
The frame is solid, the joints are secure and the original castors run smoothly.
