This little church chair came to us with a severely damaged stretcher, the timber being split in 2 parts and a chunk missing completely.
We re-glued the damaged split ends together and added a block of beech to fill the gap left by a chunk of timber falling off.
A little sanding, a little colouring and a little finishing later, and the chair is back to its normal healthy self.
